Multi-Genre Research Project
Movies as Therapy is the topic for my research. It is all there but I promise I will decorate it in the upcoming days with more photos and links so that you can experience it to the fullest. Ignore the same boring font throughout it… it’s WordPress.com’s fault.
New Journal!!!
Journal #12: The unhappiness of asking “why?”
We’ve all asked this question and I’m sure most of the time we haven’t gotten an answer… well, you’re not gonna find ithere but maybe you can identify with some of it. I didn’t really know what to write about so I started writing what I was thinking and it developed into something I really liked, maybe just because it’s 100% ranting.
It was a much needed writing therapy.
Journal 11
In Journal #11 I’m putting a part of me and of my life out there for the “world” to see, or to judge, whatever the case might be. I hope you like it and even if you don’t, please comment!
New arrivals…
Journals #9 and #10 are here. Another journal should be here in a couple of days if I ever catch up to all of my college work.

Shut Up and Sing (2006)
Anyways, #9 is about a documentary which I think everyone should watch.
And #10 is about my thoughts about stuff… go find out for yourselves.
Profile – Coffe made by “Friend’s” (1st Draft)
Coffee made by “Friend’s” (1st Draft)
By Laira Y. Rosario
There are a lot of cafeterias in Puerto Rico, but not a lot of cafés. You can find a few Starbucks Coffee shops in the Metropolitan (north-east) area, but that’s a two-and-a-half hour’s trip from the west part of Puerto Rico, especially if you live in Cabo Rojo, which lies on the southwestern corner of the island. Owner Wilmer Ramírez Aguilar says he and his wife, Evelyn Zapata, picked this town specifically because there was nothing like it anywhere near. “I was the ideal place,” he added. And that’s exactly where you’ll find Friend’s Café, -or just “Friend’s” like the frequent clients call it- a two-and-a-half-year old franchise that offers a new and refreshing style to locals and non-locals alike.
If you want to keep reading go to “Assignments” and
you’ll find the rest of the draft.
Thanks for reading!

Remembering the September 11 attacks in 2001 made me think about how events like these bring people together. Read more…
